House Amalia, located in the green heart of Croatia, in the quiet town of Sunger, will provide you with everything you need for your vacation. House Amalia is an autochthonous Goran mountain house, over 150 years old, renovated in 2022. During the renovation, great care was taken to preserve the old Goran style of construction and decoration, which in combination with modern technologies provides everything for your perfect vacation.
For all those looking for an active holiday, there are numerous natural, cultural and sports attractions of the irresistible Gorski Kotar area near the Amalia house, which you must explore. After an active day, the Amalia house will soothe you with its warmth. Welcome!
Exterior
The view of the beautiful Bitoraj hill is the first thing you will see when you wake up in the morning and go out to the terrace with a cup of your favorite morning drink. A wooden terrace, a wooden gazebo with a fireplace and an old barn that is still in its original form are in perfect harmony with the house and connect the past and the present. A large yard with children's swings during the day and a space where you can enjoy a campfire until late at night are experiences that you and your little ones will surely remember forever. In winter, this area becomes a white oasis. Children can enjoy sledding down the small hill and various other games in the snow.
Interior
Upon entering the house, you will get the impression of a true harmony of classic and modern style. Details such as the partially exposed old stone wall and 150 years old ceiling beams are interwoven with modern elements. The rooms and the completely wooden construction on the upper floor add to the warmth that is spread by two large wood-burning fireplaces on the ground floor. The local carpenters used exclusively local wood, which makes every detail absolutely unique, starting from the internal stairs on the ground floor to the magical atmosphere of the wooden attic. Gazing at the snow blizzard while enjoying the warm atmosphere from the fireplace is a special experience, as is the entire House of Amalia.

Holiday house Amalia has 5 bedrooms with two double beds, two single beds and one room with a double bed that can be converted into a room with two separate beds if necessary.
