Čelimbaša ski resort, three minutes from the house

The Čelimbaša ski resort in Mrkopalj is a three-minute drive away. It has a gentle tourist run for beginners and children, and red and black runs for more experienced skiers, so the whole family skis in one place. A morning on the slopes, lunch at the house and back on the snow in the afternoon: everything is so close that no day is lost to driving.

Sledding behind the house

Sleds are waiting at the house and are included with your stay. For the youngest there is a small hill right behind the house, gentle enough to sled on their own and close enough to watch from the terrace. For longer runs there is the sled run at Čelimbaša, three minutes away.

Platak, a second option half an hour away

If you want more runs, Platak is about half an hour's drive. The resort on the slopes of Snježnik has several runs and a view that reaches the Kvarner Bay. A good choice for one day of your winter stay, while Čelimbaša remains the everyday option three minutes away.

The house in winter

After a day in the snow, the house is warm and quiet. Two wood-burning fireplaces heat the house, and the firewood is included in the price, so there is nothing to think about. The children have their own playroom for days when it is too cold outside, and the fully equipped kitchen and Smart TV keep evenings simple. The whole house is yours alone, for up to 8 guests.

If you don't ski

Winter here is not only for skiers. Nearby Delnice has a covered ice rink, and around the house and along the forest tracks there are walks in the snow, in a silence you will not find in summer. The gazebo with a fireplace in the garden is a place to gather in winter too.

Winter questions

How far is the ski resort from the house?
The Čelimbaša ski resort in Mrkopalj is a three-minute drive. Platak is the second option, about half an hour by car.
Do you have sleds for guests?
Yes, sleds are at the house and included with your stay. Children sled on the small hill right behind the house, and for longer runs there is the sled run at Čelimbaša.
Is firewood included in the price?
Yes, firewood for both fireplaces is included in the price of your stay.
What if we don't ski?
Delnice has a covered ice rink, and there are walks in the snow around the house and along the forest tracks. The house has two fireplaces, a children's playroom and a gazebo with a fireplace in the garden.
Can we book Christmas or New Year?
